E104: The Student One Card Program: Student Access to Napa County Library Resources

Track C: (Lincoln)  —  Internet@Schools – Monday 23 October
15:15 – 16:00

Beginning with the 2016/17 school year, Napa Valley Unified School District (NVUSD) and Napa County Library offered an exciting new opportunity for secondary students with the Student One Card Program, an innovative way for students to access resources of the public library system. One Card allows NVUSD student IDs to serve as a Napa County Library card. The One Card program was the first to be introduced in California and has served as a model for many communities across the country. Learn from our speakers how the school district and county library cooperated to develop and implement the program, and how it’s doing!
